Official Details
Set twenty years after the events of Love Neko, Aigan Kitty follows Asakura, who once created a robotic companion named Nekoko for his high school teacher, Eiji. Now the owner of a company specializing in love machines, Asakura attempts to build an android modeled after his old crush. The project goes awry, resulting in a unit programmed with a clumsy personality. Frustrated and dismissing the machine as useless, Asakura gives it to his younger brother, Minami. Having heard Asakura refer to the android as Eiji just once, Minami adopts the name permanently. Unlike his older brother, Minami treats the endearing but awkward machine with genuine warmth and affection, allowing a tender relationship to blossom between them. Meanwhile, Asakura finds himself saddled with another unsold love machine that no customer wanted. Encouraged by his coworkers to spend time with one of his own creations to better appreciate them, he reluctantly engages with this defective model, which has a critical flaw: it loses consciousness midway through intimacy. Despite Asakura’s harsh words and dismissive attitude, the devoted machine remains steadfastly by his side, and their dynamic gradually evolves into something deeper. The manga concludes with two brief side stories featuring returning characters from Love Neko.
