Legend of Deification

Jiang Ziya serves as a distinguished commander within the celestial army, yet his ultimate ascension to godhood remains unfulfilled. To secure his rightful place among the divine, he is tasked with destroying a fearsome fox demon whose very presence threatens to unravel the mortal realm. However, as he prepares to deliver the final blow, Jiang Ziya makes a startling discovery: the creature’s existence is inextricably bound to the life of an innocent young girl. Unable to condemn her alongside the monster, he defies a direct edict from Heaven and spares the demon. This act of rebellion carries severe consequences, resulting in his immediate banishment to the earthly world he was meant to protect. Stripped of his celestial standing, Jiang Ziya endures a decade of exile among mortals. When another opportunity finally arises for him to complete his original mission and reclaim his honor, the former commander finds himself paralyzed by doubt. He must confront a profound moral dilemma that challenges everything he once believed about divine justice. As the weight of his past decision lingers, Jiang Ziya is forced to weigh the glory of the heavens against the sanctity of a single human soul, ultimately questioning whether eternal divinity is truly worth the sacrifice of one innocent life.
