How to Repair a Broken Cup

Ten and a half years into their relationship, Keita and Kippei find themselves confronting an uncomfortable truth. Despite the decade they have shared, communication remains a persistent struggle between them—a reality that comes sharply into focus when Kippei accidentally shatters a sentimental mug. This seemingly minor incident exposes deeper fractures in their bond, leaving both men to question how well they truly understand one another after all this time. Before they can address the growing distance between them, an inexplicable phenomenon alters the course of their lives entirely. Time itself twists around the couple, swapping their ages and eras without warning. Eighteen-year-old Kippei suddenly awakens in the year 2020, while his twenty-eight-year-old self finds himself transported back to 2010. Each version of Kippei is now forced to navigate a timeline that no longer matches his own experiences or maturity. Thrust into unfamiliar periods of their shared history, both versions of Kippei must confront their partners from the past with new eyes. This extraordinary disruption offers the couple a rare opportunity to reflect on the entirety of their journey together. As they adjust to their displaced realities, they must determine whether revisiting earlier chapters of their romance can help them reignite both their emotional connection and their physical intimacy, ultimately finding a way to mend what has been broken.
