I Want to Protect You, Mr. Sawatari

Sawatari is a man plagued by relentless misfortune, navigating his daily life under the constant weight of terrible luck. For as long as he can remember, he has relied on a specific protective charm to ward off the endless string of disasters that seem to follow him everywhere. However, when he unexpectedly loses this crucial talisman, his already difficult existence threatens to spiral completely out of control, leaving him vulnerable to every mishap imaginable. Desperate for a solution and unable to endure the mounting chaos alone, Sawatari makes an unconventional decision. He turns to Akutsu, a coworker who seems to exist at the complete opposite end of the fortune spectrum. Blessed with an extraordinary streak of good luck, Akutsu represents a beacon of stability in Sawatari's turbulent world. To shield himself from further calamity, Sawatari resorts to moving in and living together with his fortunate colleague. This sudden shift from mere coworkers to housemates sets the stage for a new dynamic, as Sawatari hopes that simply sharing a home with Akutsu will be enough to finally turn his tragic luck around.
