The Heroine Is a Man!

Eight years after unexpectedly waking up inside the pages of a fantasy novel, Ainéis finally encounters Tego Literuon, the story's long-awaited protagonist. For nearly a decade, she has patiently waited for the narrative to unfold, preparing herself to play her part in the plot. However, her anticipation is complicated by a singular, persistent misunderstanding: based on the original novel's descriptions, Ainéis has become entirely convinced that Tego is actually a woman living in disguise. Armed with this assumption, she approaches him not as a traditional leading man, but as a hidden heroine in need of careful support. Determined to keep the story on track, Ainéis dedicates herself to guiding events forward and assisting Tego at every turn. Yet her well-intentioned efforts to push the narrative along produce an unforeseen consequence, as her constant presence and devotion gradually cause Tego to develop genuine romantic feelings for her. What began as a calculated attempt to fulfill a fictional storyline has transformed into a deeply personal entanglement. Now, Ainéis must confront an unexpected dilemma of her own. Having spent years believing she was standing beside a disguised woman, she is forced to question whether her own heart can adapt to the truth and if her feelings toward Tego might ultimately change.
