Ling Long Part 2

In the not-too-distant future, Earth has long since buckled under the weight of extreme overpopulation. Driven by the desperate need for survival, humanity embarks on an ambitious journey toward the stars, searching for a new home among the cosmos. However, just as this grand exodus begins, a catastrophic shift in the moon's alignment triggers devastating earthquakes that tear across the globe. These relentless seismic upheavals persist for several decades, effectively dismantling human civilization and reducing its former glory to ruins. When the battered planet finally stabilizes and the land begins to heal, the remnants of humanity cautiously reemerge from the ashes. They are greeted by an environment that is at once deeply familiar and profoundly strange, transformed by decades of unchecked geological fury. The world they once commanded with absolute authority has evolved in their absence, presenting unknown challenges and a drastically altered landscape. As survivors navigate this unrecognizable terrain, a haunting question lingers over their fragile existence: will the species that once ruled this domain as undisputed masters still be able to reclaim its place at the top, or has their era of dominance been permanently extinguished?
