Uwagaki

Terui Chiaki is well aware that her classmate, Ajikawa Yoshio, harbors feelings for her. However, she considers him entirely unsuitable as a partner, especially since she already has a boyfriend. Observing this unrequited dynamic, their enigmatic teacher, Mr. Yamada, proposes an unusual experiment. Possessing the mysterious ability to duplicate people and objects, he creates an exact copy of Chiaki named Koaki. The only difference is that Koaki holds no memories or knowledge of Chiaki’s existing relationship. Under Mr. Yamada’s rules, Yoshio is given the opportunity to court Koaki and attempt to win her heart over a set period. Once the time expires, the original and the duplicate will be merged back into a single person. Whichever affection proves stronger—her feelings for her current boyfriend or any newly developed emotions for Yoshio—will permanently overwrite the other. Confident in her loyalty, both Chiaki and Koaki believe Yoshio stands absolutely no chance of s쳮ding. Yet, as the days progress and the experiment unfolds, unexpected emotions begin to surface, challenging everything they thought they knew about their own heart.
