Yuri Kuma Arashi

Billed as an intellectual fantasy, Yuri Kuma Arashi centers on Kureha, a remarkably plain high school student who drifts through her daily life almost entirely unnoticed by those around her. Described as "transparent," she exists on the quiet margins of her school's social landscape, blending into the background so seamlessly that she rarely draws anyone's attention. Yet beneath this unassuming exterior lies a deeply unsettling recurring experience that haunts her every single night. As darkness falls, Kureha is repeatedly swept into a vivid and surreal dream defined by a strange phenomenon known as the bear and transparent storm. Within this nightly vision, the boundaries between her mundane reality and something far more mysterious begin to blur. The dreamscape takes a particularly startling turn when Ginko Yurishiro, an enigmatic classmate from her waking life, suddenly appears before her. However, Ginko does not arrive in human form; instead, she manifests as a bear, transforming the nocturnal storm into a deeply personal and bewildering encounter. This persistent, otherworldly intrusion forces Kureha to confront the unsettling connection between her invisible existence at school and the striking, beast-like presence of her mysterious classmate within the storm.
