Kurayukaba Pilot

Set within an alternate reality, Kurayukaba unfolds in a town gripped by mounting dread. A series of inexplicable mass disappearances under the cover of darkness has left the local population terrified of the falling shadows and the inevitable arrival of evening. As nightfall transforms into a harbinger of vanishing citizens, the community finds itself paralyzed by fear, unable to comprehend the forces stealing people away when the sun goes down. Amidst this pervasive atmosphere of terror, Shoutarou—a largely ineffective and aimless detective—finds his path unexpectedly altered. A chance encounter introduces him to Tanne, a mysterious young woman who commands a heavily armored train. Drawn into her orbit by circumstance rather than ambition, the once-inept investigator is thrust directly into the heart of the crisis. Armed with new resolve and the formidable presence of Tanne's ironclad locomotive, Shoutarou undertakes the daunting task of unraveling the mystery behind the nocturnal vanishings. Determined to confront the creeping darkness that plagues the town, he sets out to solve the harrowing case once and for all, transforming from a good-for-nothing sleuth into the community's unlikely last hope against the terrifying unknown.
