So Dearly Reckless

Louis grew up doing whatever it took to survive in his small home village. Now that he has come of age and must leave the orphanage, his singular ambition is to escape poverty for good. His best chance at building a stable future lies in graduating from Arneval Academy, but the steep tuition stands as an insurmountable barrier. Desperate for income, Louis registers with the Adventurer’s Guild, where he crosses paths with Bolt, a seasoned adventurer who insists they form a party together. Bolt even helps Louis save enough money to cover his school fees. Yet life at the academy exacts its own toll, and Louis soon realizes that remaining in Bolt’s party might not be such a burden after all. As they face new adventures side by side, genuine romantic feelings begin to blossom between them. However, their partnership rests on fragile ground. Bolt may be concealing his true identity, and long-buried mysteries surrounding Louis’s own past threaten to shatter everything he believes about himself. When these hidden truths finally surface, they will determine whether the bond between the two young men breaks entirely or draws them closer than ever before.
