Gift Hisono is a remarkably talented painter whose artistic brilliance is constantly overshadowed by severe financial struggles. Just as he nears the completion of his latest masterpiece, disaster strikes when his essential palette knife unexpectedly breaks. Unable to afford a replacement and desperate to finish his work, he makes a fateful decision that crosses a moral line. Driven by urgency, Gift steals paint from Taima, a close friend and fellow member of their school's art club. He believes this quiet transgression will go unnoticed, allowing him to complete his painting without consequence. However, his act of betrayal does not go unseen. Another art club member named Kadomi witnesses the theft firsthand, silently observing Gift's moment of weakness. This single, seemingly minor crime sets off an irreversible chain of events. What begins as a desperate attempt to solve a temporary problem quickly spirals into something far more destructive. With Kadomi now holding the truth, Gift finds himself trapped in a web of guilt and exposure, marking the dark beginning of his poisonous downfall.
