I Doll

Ai Morizawa is a first-year high school student who leads a surprising double life as a popular idol. Despite her widespread fame and the adoration of her fans, she approaches her entertainment career with absolutely no dedication or enthusiasm. Her involvement in the industry was never driven by passion or ambition; rather, she accepted the offer solely for the financial compensation it provides. This mercenary attitude quickly becomes apparent in her daily professional obligations. Instead of fulfilling her responsibilities, Ai actively avoids them, going so far as to flee from her scheduled photo shoots. She treats her commitments as mere inconveniences standing in the way of her true priorities. The glamorous world of idols holds no genuine appeal for her beyond the paycheck it delivers. Ultimately, romance occupies far more space in Ai's mind than her flourishing career ever could. While her agency expects a diligent performer, she remains entirely preoccupied with the singular goal of finding herself a boyfriend. Balancing the demanding expectations of her public persona with her relentless pursuit of love creates a constant, chaotic conflict, as her personal desires continually undermine the very profession that made her famous.
