Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta?

Hideki Nishimura once made the mistake of confessing his feelings to someone he believed was a girl in an online game, only to discover that the player on the other end was actually a boy. Deeply scarred by this humiliating experience, he buries the memory as a dark chapter of his past and vows never to trust an online romance again. He assumes every female character he encounters is hiding a similar secret, determined to keep his virtual life strictly platonic. However, his hardened resolve is tested when a female player suddenly confesses her love to him in-game. To his absolute astonishment, this time the person behind the screen turns out to be a genuinely beautiful girl named Ako Tamaki. Yet, their real-world meeting reveals a complicated truth: Ako is entirely unable to distinguish between the digital realm and reality. She lives as a withdrawn loner who struggles deeply with basic communication outside of the game. Concerned for her well-being, Hideki decides he cannot simply walk away. Alongside his trusted friends from their gaming guild, he takes it upon himself to help Ako navigate the complexities of the real world. Together, they embark on a heartfelt mission to gently correct her blurred perception of reality and guide her toward meaningful human connection.
