Yogoenanjeon

During the turbulent final years of the Joseon Dynasty, the nation is torn apart by foreign invasions and bitter political power struggles. Amid this chaos, malevolent spirits that were once sealed away have violently awakened, unleashing a wave of brutal murders across the land. Jin Yong, a disgraced yangban who harbors a deep grudge against his own country, seizes the opportunity to accelerate Joseon’s downfall by forging an alliance with a covert Japanese organization. Standing against this encroaching darkness is Mu-Yeong, a devoted royal guard who risks everything to hunt down the rampaging monsters. His mission becomes deeply personal when his lover, a shaman named Hye-Ryeong, is abducted by the very creatures he pursues. As Mu-Yeong fights desperately to rescue her, his path unexpectedly crosses with Chae-Yul, a brilliant but unconventional inventor of modern weaponry serving in the Special Forces. Tasked with investigating the unsolved, monster-related killings, Chae-Yul follows the trail left by the royal guard, drawing both men into a harrowing battle for survival in a fractured era.
