To safeguard the tranquility of the human realm, the divine creator fashioned a celestial order of guardian angels. Within this sacred hierarchy, aspiring protectors must undergo rigorous preparation before assuming their duties. Ryota Akamine stands out as an exceptionally promising senior at the academy dedicated to training these heavenly beings. Despite his obvious potential, he faces a frustrating obstacle: his inability to fully command his own abilities prevents him from earning the right to graduate and officially joining the ranks of active guardians. Ryota is far from alone in his struggle. Three of his peers—Shirogane, Aotsuka, and Kurosawa—find themselves trapped in the exact same predicament, held back by their own incomplete mastery over their angelic gifts. Recognizing that theoretical study has taken them as far as it can, the academy dispatches the quartet on a practical mission to the mortal plane. Tasked with purging the human world of lingering malevolence, the four young angels must prove their worth through real combat and experience. Their journey across Earth serves a dual purpose: protecting humanity from dark forces while finally securing the qualifications they need to become true angels.
