Pulse

Mel is a highly accomplished heart surgeon who navigates her personal life with effortless detachment. For her, physical intimacy is merely a source of fleeting pleasure rather than an expression of genuine emotional connection. She maintains a carefree existence, carefully avoiding the complications of romance and keeping her relationships strictly superficial. However, her guarded worldview is unexpectedly challenged when she crosses paths with someone who completely upends her understanding of love and life. What begins as a casual encounter between two individuals harboring minimal expectations quickly evolves into something far more profound. They soon find themselves drawn into an intense relationship that forces them to confront their deepest vulnerabilities, ultimately transforming who they are at their core. This compelling story explores how an unforeseen connection can dismantle long-held defenses and reshape one's entire identity. Originally created by a Thai artist, Pulse was first released in English by Lezhin and earned widespread acclaim by winning the platform's 2nd World Comic Contest.
