Otonari-san wa Kiss yori Amai

Nao is a high school student who has carefully crafted an unremarkable daily routine. She spends her time at school deliberately hiding her true emotions, doing everything in her power to blend into the background and avoid drawing any attention from her classmates. For Nao, maintaining this quiet, invisible existence is essential to navigating her everyday life without complications. Her carefully maintained facade is unexpectedly disrupted when a familiar face appears right next door. A boy she knew during her middle school years moves into the adjacent apartment, bringing with him memories of a time when he witnessed her genuine, unfiltered personality. Unlike her current peers, he already knows the real person hiding beneath her reserved exterior, instantly complicating the anonymous life she has worked so hard to build. However, the reunion is far from what Nao might have anticipated. The boy who once saw her true self is no longer the same person she remembers from middle school. He has transformed into someone noticeably cooler and far more emotionally distant than before. Now living just a wall away from someone who holds the key to her hidden identity, yet feeling entirely out of reach, Nao must navigate the tension between her desire to remain unseen and the undeniable presence of her new neighbor.
