Assassin’s Creed: Blade of Shao Jun

In the year 1526, the Great Ming Empire presides over a prosperous yet deeply fractured China. Despite the nation's outward wealth and cultural achievements, a ruthless political purge orchestrated by the newly ascended emperor casts a dark shadow across the land. This sweeping campaign of terror has plunged the realm into chaos, destabilizing the fragile peace and leaving devastation in its wake. Amid this violent upheaval, the Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins faces total annihilation. With her comrades systematically hunted down and eradicated, Shao Jun emerges as the sole surviving member of her order. Forced to flee the empire's wrath, she sought refuge far beyond the borders of her homeland, journeying all the way to Europe to escape the relentless reach of the imperial forces. Now, having endured exile and unimaginable loss, Shao Jun makes the perilous voyage back to China entirely alone. She returns not merely as a displaced wanderer, but as a weapon forged by grief and resolve. Stripped of her Brotherhood yet unbroken in spirit, she carries a singular, unwavering purpose into the heart of the Ming dynasty: to exact vengeance upon those who destroyed everything she held dear.
