In the Middle of Kissing

Mine’s first love came to an abrupt end when Setsu, her childhood playmate, transferred to another school. Before his departure, he left her with a single, earnest request: she must never cut her hair. That lingering promise became a quiet anchor for Mine as the years slipped by, shaping her daily life around a memory that refused to fade. Four years later, Setsu finally returns, but the boy she once cherished has transformed into someone almost unrecognizable. The reunion forces Mine to confront the distance between the past she held onto and the reality standing before her. As she navigates this unexpected shift, she must determine whether the bond they shared can survive the weight of time and change, or if her first love was always destined to remain just a fleeting chapter of her youth. This manga is a heartfelt collection of pure love stories centered on young women navigating the tender complexities of romance. Through emotional reunions, bittersweet memories, and the quiet ache of growing up, each tale explores the delicate moments where affection meets vulnerability, offering a deeply sincere look at the innocence and intensity of first love.
