Kui-tan

Known informally as the Big-Eating Detective Office, the Holmes Agency tackles complex criminal investigations driven by an utterly unconventional methodology. Seiya Takano, a brilliant detective renowned for his voracious appetite, steps in as the new leader of this eccentric team. Working alongside subordinates Ryosuke Noda and Ryoko Izumi—both of whom share his immense hunger—Seiya confronts a relentless wave of murders, robberies, and kidnappings unfolding around them. Rather than relying strictly on traditional police work, the trio resolves each baffling case through extraordinary deductions born entirely from their obsession with food. Whether they are consuming meals at a grim murder scene, eating along railroad tracks, or even tasting dog food, their relentless quest for culinary experiences somehow unlocks the truth. Ignoring standard witness testimonies, they eat continuously across every location they visit, with the culprit invariably appearing just as their feast concludes. A portmanteau blending the concepts of big-eating and detective work, *Kui-tan* delivers a unique fusion of genuine gourmet appreciation and authentic mystery. Armed with profound culinary expertise, these voracious investigators race across the city to crack difficult cases one unconventional meal at a time.
