Tonari no Seki no Katabutsu-kun

Katabutsu-kun is a student whose priorities are firmly set on academics rather than matters of the heart. To him, romance is an unnecessary distraction, and he dedicates his time and energy entirely to his studies. He navigates his daily school life with a singular focus, showing no interest in the romantic pursuits that often occupy the minds of his classmates. For Katabutsu-kun, the classroom is strictly a place for learning, and he intends to keep it that way. However, an unexpected turn of events disrupts his carefully maintained routine. Through a twist of fate, he finds himself assigned to tutor the girl who sits directly beside him in class. This sudden responsibility forces the academically driven student into close, regular contact with a classmate in a way he never anticipated. What begins as a straightforward academic arrangement introduces an unforeseen dynamic between the two seatmates, challenging his steadfast indifference toward anything beyond textbooks and test scores.
