Dragon Quest: Monsters+

Serving as a direct sequel to the original Game Boy title "Dragon Quest Monsters," this manga follows the journey of Kurio, a young boy who harbors a deep and earnest desire to become a true hero. His aspirations are suddenly put to the test when he is unexpectedly transported into a fantastical realm teeming with monsters of every kind. This vibrant world, however, is on the brink of collapse. The great tree that sustains the land is slowly withering away, causing the local monster population to spiral into uncontrollable berserk rages that threaten everything in their path. Compounding this escalating crisis is the mysterious disappearance of Terry, the legendary Monster Master who once safeguarded the realm. With no protector left to guide them, the desperate inhabitants turn to the newly arrived child for salvation. Kurio is called upon to step into the role of their new Monster Master hero, tasked with taming the rampaging creatures, uncovering the fate of his missing predecessor, and restoring life to the dying great tree before the entire world falls into ruin.
