Frog

Weber Yates once dreamed of stardom, but his ambitions have dwindled into the prospect of working as a ranch hand in Texas. Resigned to a quiet and solitary future, he views himself as nothing more than a frog unworthy of grand aspirations. His only meaningful connection is with a man who seems impossibly out of reach—someone living an entirely different life in San Francisco. Before settling into his humble new reality, Weber makes one final stop in the city to see him, believing it will be their last goodbye. Cyrus Benning is a highly accomplished neurosurgeon whose sharp eye misses nothing. From the moment they met, he saw past Weber’s rough exterior as a struggling bull rider and recognized the remarkable man hidden beneath. However, enduring Weber’s repeated departures has become an unbearable emotional burden, and Cyrus knows his heart cannot withstand another farewell. With time running out, Cyrus seizes this final opportunity to show Weber the truth: he is not loved for his career or his status, but simply for who he is.
