Marui Kanojo to Zannen na Kareshi

Mariko is a vibrant and cheerful nurse who embraces her life with confidence, never shying away from playfully joking about her own curvy figure. Her bright outlook stands in stark contrast to Nagi, a student who carries deep-seated discomfort around women with similar body types. His unease stems from a painful experience during his teenage years, leaving him guarded and hesitant whenever he encounters someone who reminds him of that past. However, everything shifts when their paths cross. Despite his lingering prejudices, Nagi finds himself instantly captivated by Mariko’s radiant and sunny personality. Their dynamic is far from conventional—she has never experienced romance before, while he remains overwhelmingly shy and reserved. Yet, the genuine warmth she radiates begins to slowly dismantle the walls he built around himself. As they spend more time together, these two unlikely companions navigate their personal insecurities and emotional barriers. Through patience and mutual understanding, Mariko and Nagi discover that true affection transcends physical appearances and preconceived notions. Their journey becomes a heartfelt exploration of love, proving that vulnerability and acceptance can heal even the most stubborn wounds of the past.
