Hong Kong film: The cop backs down, the ladies beg me to check his license.

Awakened in the gritty underworld of classic Hong Kong cinema, Yip Tin becomes the clandestine mastermind operating in the shadows beneath Hung Hing's Young Kun. While rival gangsters climb the ranks through brute force and bloodshed, Yip Tin wields a far deadlier weapon: a daily-updating, top-secret intelligence system residing within his own mind. Today it is the hidden location of a rival triad leader's heir; tomorrow, the combination to a syndicate's impenetrable safe house; and the day after, the winning numbers to the Mark Six lottery. Armed with absolute foresight, Yip Tin effortlessly weaves through the chaos, carving out an empire of wealth and influence right in the heart of Mong Kok. But when Ni Yongxiao, the razor-sharp new head of the rising Ni family, arrives at his doorstep offering the guise of brotherhood, Yip Tin’s reaction is swift and explosive: he lights ten thousand firecrackers on the spot, publicly mocking the overture and turning himself into the underworld’s laughingstock. As Ni Yongxiao's gaze turns ice-cold and law enforcement quietly elevates his undercover suspicion level to maximum, Yip Tin finds himself caught in a high-stakes chess match where triads, corrupt officials, and high-society elites must all play by his rules.
