Omega of the Divine

In a desolate and unforgiving landscape, the people of a struggling village have long upheld a grim tradition: offering a bride to their merciless sun god in exchange for survival. Luca, the gentle son of the recently deceased village chief, becomes the center of this ancient custom when he is suddenly afflicted by mysterious fevers and fainting spells. The villagers quickly interpret his strange symptoms as a divine sign, sealing his fate. Though terror grips his mortal heart, Luca accepts his duty without resistance, understanding that he must be surrendered to a supposedly ravenous deity so that his neighbors might finally reap bountiful harvests from the barren earth. Yet, the reality awaiting Luca proves vastly different from the terrifying legends he was raised to believe. When he finally comes face to face with the sun god, he discovers an entity far warmer and more precious than any myth foretold. As an unexpected bond begins to form between the fearful young man and the divine being, a fragile hope takes root in the wasteland. However, their newfound connection remains precarious, leaving them at the mercy of a destiny that could easily steer them toward tragedy rather than salvation.
