Nanako, Akane, and Shino have been inseparable since elementary school, sharing the same classroom year after year. With university entrance exams approaching, the trio dreamed of continuing their journey together in college. However, those ambitions crumbled when not all three managed to pass. Now, Nanako and Akane find themselves as "ichiroh"—first-year students repeating their studies at a local preparatory school—while navigating life without their third companion by their side. Determined to s쳮d on her next attempt, Nanako faces an uphill battle against a series of relentless distractions. The strict manager of their dormitory, which doubles as a shrine, immediately puts the two girls to work serving as miko. Meanwhile, Akane remains hopelessly tethered to her video game addiction, offering little academic support, and a mischievous neighbor continually escalates their pranks to chaotic new heights. Surrounded by endless nonsense and daily obligations, Nanako must fight for every spare moment of peace just to open her textbooks, making her dream of passing next year feel like an extraordinary challenge.
