Moto Seikishidan, Ima wa Chukyu Boukensha.: Meikyuu de Suterareta Dorei ni Gohan o Tabesasetara Natsukaremashita

Farrell was once a leading candidate to command the Holy Knights, but personal circumstances drove him to leave the order and forge a new path as an adventurer. Because he never bothered to take the promotional examinations, he has languished at the mid-rank tier for years, cultivating a reputation as a highly capable yet deeply eccentric loner. He shuns lucrative commissions, refuses all party invitations, and maintains a quiet, unassuming lifestyle. Yet beneath this modest exterior lies an unwavering obsession: harvesting rare, exquisite ingredients from the depths of the labyrinth. When a guild receptionist casually mentions that members of an elite adventuring party may have been abandoned inside the dungeon, Farrell ventures into the darkness under the guise of his usual culinary expedition. Deep within the labyrinth, he discovers a slave—brought along solely as expendable combat fodder—desperately fending off monsters alone after being discarded by his masters. Unable to return the wounded fighter to those who betrayed him, Farrell takes the exhausted survivor under his wing. Unbeknownst to the solitary adventurer, his new companion harbors a profound secret, one that will begin to unravel the moment Farrell finally shares the extraordinary delicacies he has spent so long pursuing.
