Kimi no Iru Basho: REAL×FAKE

Mitsuha has grown utterly exhausted by the triviality of her friends and the monotony of her daily school routine. Craving nothing more than quiet solitude, she finds herself increasingly isolated from the people around her. However, an unexpected twist of fate leads her to begin exchanging letters with a complete stranger named Haru. Though they have never met, this accidental pen pal relationship quickly becomes her sole refuge. With Haru, Mitsuha discovers a rare sense of freedom, finally finding someone with whom she can be entirely honest about her true feelings. Within the halls of her own school, Mitsuha quietly observes a male student who embodies everything she secretly wishes to be. He carries himself with a cool, slightly intimidating demeanor and, most importantly, he exists in perfect isolation, unbothered by the social demands that drain her. She admires his ability to remain detached from the crowd. One ordinary day, their paths unexpectedly cross when she encounters him on a bus. This chance meeting outside the familiar confines of school sets the stage for an unforeseen connection, leaving Mitsuha to wonder what will unfold between them next.
