Duplication Love

Louis is a man consumed by desperation, haunted by the fear of death and an aching void where genuine affection should be. Starved for authentic connection in a world that has offered him none, he makes a reckless decision to seize control of his own fate. His target is Phil, a lover dupe—a synthetic companion originally slated for permanent disposal. Louis intercepts Phil's destruction and claims him instead, arranging a fleeting, one-month arrangement where they can exist together before time inevitably runs out. What begins as a calculated transaction built on artificial parameters soon spirals beyond Louis’s control. As the days pass within their borrowed timeframe, Phil starts to develop true feelings, looking at Louis with an affection that no programming could fabricate. The boundaries between a manufactured arrangement and authentic emotion begin to blur, transforming their temporary pact into something far more profound. This unexpected shift plunges both men into uncharted territory. Their fabricated romance rapidly evolves into a dangerously real bond, forcing Louis to confront the very thing he sought while risking everything he has left. With the looming threat of their limited month together, the two must navigate the fragile line between a desperate illusion and a love that refuses to be discarded.
