Kakeru to Hiyo

Kakeru is an unremarkable high school student who blends seamlessly into the everyday rhythm of campus life. He possesses no extraordinary qualities or standout traits, save for one distinct advantage: his impressive athletic ability. Outside of sports, he navigates his daily routine much like any other teenager, keeping a low profile and avoiding unnecessary complications. His quiet existence, however, is suddenly disrupted by the unexpected arrival of a new transfer student named Izumi, whose reputation as a delinquent precedes him and casts an immediate shadow over the school's atmosphere. Naturally wary of the newcomer’s intimidating demeanor, Kakeru finds it incredibly difficult to approach Izumi or initiate any form of interaction. The social divide between the ordinary athlete and the rebellious transfer student seems impossible to bridge. Yet, fate intervenes when the two are unexpectedly assigned to clean the school together. This mandatory shared duty forces them into close proximity, stripping away the comfort of distance and setting the stage for an unforeseen encounter that neither of them could have anticipated.
