Hidamari no Heya de Kimi wo Matsu

In a world where humans and beastmen coexist side by side, Mashiro is an ordinary college student whose life takes an unexpected turn when he decides to take in Kazuki. The young beastman has no family or relatives to rely on, prompting Mashiro to offer him a temporary place to stay out of compassion. What begins as a simple act of kindness soon reveals itself to be far more complicated than either of them anticipated, setting the stage for a deeply personal connection. Unbeknownst to Mashiro, this is not their first encounter. The two had actually met once before, though the memory has completely slipped his mind. For Kazuki, however, that brief meeting left a lasting impression, and he had quietly held onto the hope of crossing paths with Mashiro again. Now living under the same roof, Kazuki must navigate the bittersweet reality that his excitement was entirely one-sided. As he grapples with the quiet ache of being forgotten, the fragile dynamic between the human student and the lonely beastman begins to unfold, driven by unspoken feelings and the painful realization that only one of them had been waiting for this reunion.
