Kuroyome

Ikeda Mitsuko is a highly successful businesswoman who seemingly has it all, yet she harbors one unconventional desire. In a moment of whimsy, she makes a wish to Santa Claus for a wife of her own. However, the age-old warning to be careful what you wish for soon proves true when her request is unexpectedly granted, thrusting her into an unforeseen situation that turns her life upside down. This manga unfolds through a series of interconnected short stories that explore the surprising consequences of Mitsuko’s wish and the lives of those around her. The narrative is structured across several distinct arcs, beginning with the primary Kuroyome storyline spanning the first four chapters, which establishes the central premise and its immediate fallout. The collection then expands its scope through additional tales that deepen the overarching narrative. Chapters five and six present Metoraba, followed by Mitsuko-san's Agony in chapter seven, which delves further into the protagonist's personal struggles. The volume concludes with Fuji-sensei's Lie in the eighth chapter, adding another layer of intrigue to this unique anthology of intertwined stories.
