Hamatora THE COMIC

In a world where certain individuals possess the ability to perform specific "small miracles," these gifted people are known as Minimum Holders. To harness their extraordinary talents, a government-funded elite academy was established to train them to reach their maximum potential and serve national interests. Among its most promising students was a young man named Nice, whose capabilities were considered exceptionally high. However, rather than fulfilling the expectations placed upon him, Nice chose to abandon his studies entirely. After dropping out, he formed a private investigation team alongside his assistant, Hajime. Together, they built a modest but satisfying life solving cases for everyday clients—many of which inevitably involved other Minimum Holders. Their quiet routine is disrupted when Murasaki, a top-ranking student from the very academy Nice left behind, arrives with a strict directive: bring the dropout back into the fold. Murasaki deeply resents the persistent rumors that Nice possesses greater potential than he does, viewing the assignment as both an obligation and a personal slight. Yet, despite his initial hostility and pride, circumstances gradually pull him into the orbit of Nice's detective work. What begins as a mission of retrieval transforms into an unexpected partnership, drawing Murasaki deeper into the mysteries and conflicts surrounding the Minimum Holders.
