Fake Fiction

Rising actor Arashi Hinami harbors a deep, consuming jealousy toward Tooru Ootaki, a rival whose fame far eclipses his own. After enduring the frustration of watching Tooru’s latest film, Arashi retreats to his usual sanctuary: an exclusive, members-only gentleman’s club designed for absolute discretion. Within its walls, patrons conceal their faces and never intrude upon one another’s private lives. Seeking nothing more than a temporary escape from his bitter resentment, Arashi finds himself captivated by a mysterious, alluring stranger, and the two share an intensely passionate night together. The illusion of anonymity shatters the following morning when Arashi discovers that the man with whom he shared such a flawless physical connection is none other than Tooru Ootaki himself. The revelation leaves Arashi reeling, but fate has little intention of granting him distance from his rival. In a twist that promises to complicate both his professional ambitions and his tangled personal feelings, Arashi learns that he and Tooru are slated to co-star in an upcoming television drama. Now forced into close proximity, Arashi must navigate the volatile intersection of rivalry, desire, and performance as the boundaries between their hidden encounter and public careers begin to blur.
