During her school years, Tomoko endured relentless bullying and was cruelly branded as "ugly" by her peers. The memory of those painful days still stings, but nothing fuels her anger quite like the present reality: Rika, the very girl who tormented her under the guise of being the "pretty" one, has grown up to become a highly successful beauty influencer. While Rika thrives in an industry built on aesthetics, Tomoko harbors a deep resentment toward the superficial standards that once defined her worth. However, when Tomoko looks closely at the glamorous life Rika projects, she begins to notice something unexpected. Reflected in Rika's eyes is an entirely different world, one that hints at hidden struggles beneath the polished exterior of fame and beauty. Despite their contrasting appearances, differing pasts, and opposing approaches to life, both women find themselves confronting societal pressures head-on. Their intertwined journeys reveal that the scars left by appearance-based discrimination run deeper than anyone realizes. As they navigate a world obsessed with outward perfection, these two women forge an unlikely path forward. Their story ultimately becomes a powerful exploration of sisterhood, resilience, and the fight to overcome the harsh judgments imposed by society's rigid standards of beauty.
