The Novel’s Extra

Awakening from his slumber, Kim Hajin realizes he has been thrust into a strangely familiar realm, though trapped within a body he does not recognize. This is a universe of his own design—a meticulous narrative he authored himself, yet ultimately left unfinished. Rather than stepping into the shoes of a hero, he finds himself inhabiting a minor extra, a forgettable background figure entirely inconsequential to the grand design of the plot. His sole lead for finding a way out of this predicament relies on closely following the trajectory of the main storyline. Yet, as he attempts to navigate this constructed reality, Hajin quickly discovers that the world refuses to align perfectly with his original vision, harboring unexpected deviations and hidden truths that threaten to upend everything he thought he knew about his own creation.
