The Lotus and the Lost

Baek-Ryeon, an ancient and sacred dragon spirit, desired an heir rather than a heart. He once took a human named Ha-On as his mate, remaining entirely oblivious to the reality that true affection would ultimately become his ruin. When Ha-On uncovers the harsh truth that his sole purpose was to produce an heir, he abruptly vanishes, abandoning Baek-Ryeon to endure centuries of solitude. Centuries later, set in the modern world, Baek-Ryeon crosses paths with a man who possesses Ha-On’s soul and carries that exact same fire within his eyes. Yet, because this modern incarnation retains no recollection of their shared history, Baek-Ryeon faces a profound dilemma: can he genuinely atone for the grave sins of the past?
