Jeotaeng Yeongchunhwa: Non-seullim Nerd Fantasy

In 1940, amidst an era of turmoil, a magnificent estate known as Yeongchunhwa was erected on a remote island, born entirely from a man's profound devotion to his wife. As decades passed, the tragic and romantic tale of the couple faded into obscurity. However, the secluded sanctuary is suddenly revived by a mysterious caretaker who transforms the grand building into an exclusive lodging establishment. Guided by the lingering spirits of the original owners, the caretaker begins issuing invitations to individuals destined to experience love. Within these walls, any form of affection is permitted, offering guests a luxurious haven to indulge their deepest passions under the watchful permission of the estate. This collection of romantic tales shifts its focus in its second short story, *Non-Slip Nerd Fantasy*, to the unexpected encounter between Kim Do-Rim, a driven 30-something career woman constantly plagued by the exhaustion of her demanding profession, and Oh Yeon-Tae, an aspiring mystery novelist who has spent years in self-imposed isolation to hone his craft. Despite leading entirely contrasting lives that share no common ground, both are drawn to Yeongchunhwa by mysterious invitations. Upon arriving at the secluded mansion, they discover an enigmatic Fantasy Booth capable of bringing their innermost yearnings to life—Do-Rim seeking the deep rest she so desperately lacks, and Yeon-Tae striving to break through his creative limitations. As the boundaries between reality and imagination blur within the booth, the two must navigate their newfound desires and discover whether their connection can truly blossom inside the mysterious mansion.
