Roku to Rui

Rui Takanashi has long envisioned a bright and fulfilling campus life. His aspirations suddenly peak when the girl of his interest invites him to a private meeting, leading him to believe a romantic confession awaits. Instead of his crush, however, he arrives only to find his persistent childhood friend, Roku Koga. Reflecting on the past, Rui realizes that Roku has repeatedly sabotaged his most significant romantic milestones. Whether she was intercepting his previous crushes or stealing a kiss purely to provoke him, her interference has been a constant source of frustration. When Rui finally reaches his breaking point and confronts her about the constant meddling, Roku delivers a completely unexpected revelation: she has harbored romantic feelings for him far longer than anyone else. Blindsided by this entirely new side to his lifelong companion, Rui finds his worldview upended. This unexpected confession sparks an unpredictable romance between Roku, a girl utterly incapable of expressing her genuine emotions, and Rui, an absolute novice when it comes to matters of the heart.
