Magical Girl Cat X

In a society where humans coexist with "Juujin"—genetically mutated animals featuring human-like traits alongside animal ears and tails—these beings typically serve as manual laborers or household pets. However, the emergence of a dangerous new breed known as "Evolutions," or EVOs, threatens humanity as they begin using extraordinary, magic-like powers against people. Peke is one such EVO who has been raised by her human master, Yamato Yamamoto. Yamato's mother is employed by the Health Care Center, the sole agency with jurisdiction over Juujin, and has invented a special collar capable of sealing away the immense powers of the EVOs. Having previously relied on this collar to prevent her own dangerous powers from going berserk, Peke must now willingly release her abilities. Tasked with fighting and capturing rampaging EVOs, she fights not only to save humanity from destruction, but also to win the affection of her beloved master.
