Flowers in Distress

How many steps must a person take before true intimacy is reached? From the first greeting to easy companionship, from friendship to romance, every relationship follows its own quiet progression. For one young woman, that progression has stalled at a single, agonizing threshold. She harbors deep feelings for one of her closest friends, yet she remains trapped in hesitation. In the privacy of her own mind, she rehearses the words "I love him" endlessly, searching for the perfect moment to finally confess. Every encounter feels like a rehearsal for a scene she cannot quite bring herself to perform. Believing their unexpected meeting across a distance is nothing short of fate, she prepares to approach him with a casual remark about their coincidence. She intends to bridge the gap between friendship and something more, ready to let the rehearsed words finally leave her lips. However, the reality of the situation shatters her careful plans. Instead of a romantic confession, she finds herself caught in an awkward and deeply distressing predicament. What was meant to be a destined turning point quickly unravels, leaving her struggling to navigate the complicated emotions and sudden discomfort that threaten to upend their cherished bond.
