Miwaku no Hana

Kyouko is a university student navigating the complexities of campus life while harboring a profound secret. She has fallen deeply in love with Masumi, her closest friend and most trusted confidante. For a long time, she has carefully concealed her true feelings, terrified that confessing might shatter the bond they share. However, as their friendship continues to evolve, the emotional weight of her unrequited affection becomes increasingly difficult to bear. What began as a quiet infatuation has gradually intensified into an overwhelming ache that Kyouko can no longer suppress. The constant proximity to Masumi, combined with the necessity of maintaining a facade of platonic normalcy, pushes her toward a breaking point. Every shared moment serves as both a comfort and a painful reminder of what she cannot openly express, leaving her emotionally exhausted and desperate for relief. Reaching the absolute limit of her endurance, Kyouko finds herself unable to maintain her composure any longer. Seeking a way to numb the intensity of her longing or perhaps finally lower the walls she has built around her heart, she turns to alcohol. As her inhibitions begin to fade under its influence, the fragile barrier separating her hidden devotion from reality starts to crumble, setting the stage for a pivotal shift in their relationship.
