A Misanthrope Teaches a Class for Demi-Humans

Rei Hitoma once dedicated his life to education, but lingering trauma from his past has left him deeply disillusioned with humanity. Now a self-professed misanthrope, he yearns for nothing more than a quiet, uneventful existence far removed from the complexities of society. Seeking refuge in solitude, he accepts a teaching position at a remote school nestled high in the mountains, expecting his days to be filled with peaceful isolation and minimal effort. However, his vision of a slow and relaxing life is quickly upended upon arrival. The secluded institution is not an ordinary academy; it is exclusively populated by young demi-human girls who harbor a singular, earnest ambition—to become fully recognized human beings. Thrust into the role of their instructor, Rei finds himself responsible for guiding these unique students through their transformative journey. Despite his profound distaste for people, he must now navigate the challenges of educating those striving to join the very humanity he has chosen to leave behind.
