Demon King

The martial world was forever altered when the great war between the orthodox and unorthodox factions concluded with a decisive victory for the Demonic Cult. Yet, even under their absolute dominion, treachery festers in the dark. The cult’s designated successor was assassinated as part of an elaborate conspiracy, prompting his brother to emerge from the shadows with a singular purpose: vengeance. Hyuk Ryeonhwi, the eldest son of the Demonic Cult, is no ordinary martial artist. He is a rare survivor of Purple Cloud Island, a desolate training ground feared throughout the realm as the land of the dead. To unravel the conspiracy behind his brother's murder, Ryeonhwi infiltrates the cult’s most elite training facility. It is there that he unexpectedly crosses paths with Bi Seol, a master martial artist secretly belonging to the defeated orthodox faction. Bound by mutual danger, the two form an unlikely alliance, aiding one another through deadly trials while gradually developing profound feelings that transcend their opposing origins. Thus begins the relentless ascent of Hyuk Ryeonhwi, a journey forged in blood and betrayal that will ultimately crown him as the legendary Demon King.
