Decades have passed since the legendary Hero vanquished the Demon King and ushered in an era of lasting peace. Now elderly, the once-mighty savior finds his formidable powers fading, struggling to recall even the simplest magic spells that once defined his legacy. The quiet twilight of his life is abruptly shattered when the surviving remnants of the Demon King's army launch a sudden attack against him, proving that old threats never truly perish. Rather than rallying for another grand crusade to protect the realm he saved long ago, the aging Hero makes a deeply personal decision. He sets forth on one final journey, not as a champion destined to rescue the world, but as an old man preparing for his inevitable end. This poignant expedition serves as a "death preparation journey," offering him the chance to reflect upon his extraordinary life, revisit his past triumphs, and come to terms with his mortality. What unfolds is a contemplative and emotional voyage, transforming a classic tale of heroism into a profound meditation on aging, memory, and finding closure before the final chapter closes.
