Manga de Wakaru Senkei Daisou

Reiji has two clear ambitions in life: earning a black belt in karate and winning the heart of Misa, his dream girl. Fortune smiles upon him when Misa’s older brother, the captain of their university’s karate club, offers an unexpected arrangement. Reiji may join the dojo, but only if he agrees to tutor Misa in linear algebra. What begins as a straightforward academic exchange quickly evolves into an engaging journey through one of mathematics' most challenging disciplines. Guiding Misa from foundational principles to advanced operations, Reiji demystifies complex topics such as linear transformations, determinants, eigenvectors, and eigenvalues. He grounds abstract theories in relatable scenarios—using miniature golf games and karate tournaments to illustrate vector and matrix operations, Gaussian elimination for inverse matrices, subspaces, dimension, and linear span. The instruction even extends to practical applications in computer graphics, cryptography, and engineering, transforming a daunting subject into something concrete and genuinely enjoyable. Yet the arrangement carries unforeseen complications. As tutoring sessions progress, romantic tension blossoms between Reiji and Misa, threatening to disrupt the carefully negotiated deal. With her protective, imposing brother watching closely, Reiji faces a dilemma that goes far beyond academia: will his efforts earn him the girl of his dreams, or simply result in a brutal sparring session? This story seamlessly intertwines authentic mathematical instruction with romance and martial arts action.
