Little Hands

Handball is widely celebrated as the "sport of the sky," a demanding athletic discipline where physical height provides an overwhelming and often decisive advantage on the court. For Ishino Mikage, this reality presents a monumental challenge. When he joins the handball team at Fuuchou High School, his stature is remarkably small—barely taller than an elementary school student. In a competitive environment dominated by towering athletes, his diminutive frame seems like an insurmountable obstacle to success. Yet Mikage refuses to let his lack of height extinguish his passion for the game. He carries with him a powerful secret weapon: the extraordinary "heaven and earth" shot, a specialized technique passed down to him by his father, a renowned star athlete in the sport. Armed with this unique skill and an unyielding determination, Mikage steps onto the court ready to defy expectations. Surrounded by supportive friends and driven teammates, he embarks on a thrilling journey to prove that even the smallest player can chase the biggest ambitions. Little Hands chronicles his spirited pursuit of greatness, transforming a seemingly impossible disadvantage into the foundation of an unforgettable youth sports story.
