Gods' Games We Play

Bored with eternity, the supreme Gods devised an ultimate intellectual challenge known as the Play of the Gods. After waking from a prolonged slumber, the former Goddess Leoleshea issues a grand proclamation to the world, demanding that humanity present its finest player of the current era. In response, a young man named Fay is selected to represent mankind, having earned recognition as the most exceptional rookie in recent memory. Together, they prepare to face a divine contest unlike any other. Yet victory remains an elusive dream. Throughout all of human history, no mortal has ever conquered the Play of the Gods. The deities who design these trials are notoriously capricious, crafting rules that defy logic and reason in ways that often seem completely incomprehensible to the human mind. Despite this overwhelming disadvantage and the sheer impossibility of the task ahead, Fay refuses to be discouraged by the odds. He recognizes that such an extraordinary game deserves to be played with absolute passion and joy. What follows is the beginning of an exhilarating battle of wits, as a genius gamer boy, a former Goddess, and their companions throw themselves wholeheartedly into the ultimate divine mind games.
