When Gods Vanish, I Raise Beasts to Take Their Place

In a boundless world where the old gods have vanished without a trace, awakened spirit beasts wield divine authority to dominate the realms. The year is 2029. During a press interview, Ji Nian is questioned about whether his extraordinary achievements stem from a god-like, one-of-a-kind beast-taming talent. Ji Nian replies, looking bewildered: "This is utterly absurd. How can a mortal wield the power of the gods? They are simply fabricating groundless myths!" By the year 2032, Ji Nian sits for another interview as his spirit pets display a myriad of world-shaking divine abilities: the Infinite Holy Form, projecting an apocalyptic supreme dharma; the Abyss Feast, commanding undying and indestructible denizens of the deep; and Eternal Co-Existence, dragging entire worlds down to oblivion. It turns out his beasts had long since rivaled the gods themselves! Done pretending, Ji Nian drops the act: "Pardon me, but I need to clarify one fact. The only reason I've achieved what I have today is because my beast-taming talent grants divine abilities—and creates gods!" The reporter is left utterly speechless.
